Recently they had organized one event in relation with “Reliance Digital” at various outlets in Mumbai.
What was the event?
You need to register for your favourite / near by store.
You need to go to the store on the date specified
For attending they were suppose to give a goodie bag (didn’t got, sad)
You need to write an article about the experience and you would be getting an ipod shuffle(didn’t got, more sad)
So I registered for Mulund Store for 22-23rd June 2013 in R-Mall, I visited the store on 22nd June at 2pm and I would describe my experience in the store.
Before going to Mulund many others went to other store on different weekends and I got various feedback from each of them, So I along with my one of Indiblogger friend (Shintu) planned to go together to the store.
I reached the store at 2PM, had the printout of the registration confirmation mail sent from the Indiblogger. The security guard asked us to submit the form here and enter our details in one of the register. I asked him for the store manager for meetup, unfortunately he was on leave and he informed us you can feel free to roam around the store and also there is one executive from Reliance whom we are suppose to meet.
I approached her, her name was Ms Nidhi, she was representing the Reliance, she was part of Marketing team. She marked our names, she had list of bloggers who would be coming and told to check the store and get back to her once we are done.
From there our tour started, though there was no one in formal to attend us but each section attendants were very helpful and knowledgeable to explain the details about each device/appliance/gadgets , about the offers, etc.
To start with: I started with Mobiles section
You name the mobile company and you had mobile of that company Starting from Samsung Galaxy model to Blackberry series collection, Latest Blackberry Z10 and Q10 was also added there to Nokia Lumia Windows series phones.
Nokia Lumia 920
I personally went through maximum hand on experience of most of the popular devices. There was one Mr Bharat, I think he was some senior guy and he explained some benefits of few phone and some drawbacks of some popular smartphones. He explained about the various EMI schemes available to purchase a new mobile. He also explained about the Samsung Galaxy Note Exchange Offer (currently on going).
Overall the experience of the mobile section was good.
I saw many P&S camera in many price ranges varying the specs.
I took hands on experience on the Canon DSLR cams and the demo showed was also ultimate
Computer Peripheral Section
This section is of much importance to young generation to get stuff for computers. They also great collection of laptops of various sellers and ultimate discounts on that as well.
I saw XBox 360 Kinnet , Play Station and other stuff kept for display
They had large collection various games for display as well
Smart Television Section
I experienced the viewing the ultimate 3D Television , many LCDs, LEDs television were kept in the display in various price range
To add to the TVs, there was DVD, Speakers Section.
There was an arrangement for Home Theater made with in the store
I think this all section would be of great experience when you are planning to buy some major appliances for your home.
Kitchen Appliance Section
Then there was section for Mom’s I mean the kitchen appliance section starting form simple toaster to big jumbo fridge.
This section is of little enjoyment for me but yes this section is of prime importance to ladies in your house, so I urge every women should visit this section at-least once.
This was it my experience about visiting the Reliance Store
Now, What I liked
Mobile and Other Section
Eye Catching display of banners
And many more…
What I dis-liked
As such I didn’t find any dis-likes
But since I am adding my review, I will just say that they limited collection in the Air-Condition Section(Though this is not the importance to many but it will be good if they add some more series in the collection)
So, over-all a not good but an excellent experience visiting the store . I would really recommend you to go to the store once and keep Reliance as one of your option for buying any product and checkout offers at the store.
