Telecommunications service provider, Vodafone India, has decided to terminate services for prepaid customers which are no longer in use. The company has announced that the latest rules applicable only to those particular numbers that have no incoming and outgoing voice call services as well as no SMS and data interaction.
As per the statement issued by Vodafone, the company is forced to terminate numbers that have been inactive for a continuous span of 60 days.This decision has been taken due to DOT’s stict guidelinesfor alloting new series which led to lack of numbers for new customers. This is issue is face by many other service providers as well
New customers would be informed about the same while subscribing to the provider in the “Starter Kit”.For existing customers, the mode of communication would be either through sms or outbound calls. The same news can be viewed on official vodafone website http://vodafone.in.
