Telco provider Tata Docomo launched a new Photon Max service in Banglore along with services in 16 more cities such as Hyderabad, Patna, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mundra, Ernakulum (Cochin), Trivandrum, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Chennai, Kanpur, Lucknow and Kolkata.
Tata Photon Max will provide speed upto 6.2 Mbps (Downlink) and upto 3.6 Mbps (Uplink) via CDMA network on the other hand Tata Photo Plus offers upto 3.1 Mbps (Downlink) speed only.Tata Docomo Photon Max dongles can be made available for Rs 1,999/-.
Tata Photon Max claims to operates at a frequency of 800 MHz to give you superior indoor connectivity. There would be no roaming charges across cities in India which has Tata Photon Max connectivity. In case no photon max service, user will operate on service from Tata Photon plus with speed up to 3.1 Mbps (Downlink) and 1.8 Mbps (Uplink).
